Mission

The mission of the Pakistan Association of Medical Laboratory Sciences (PAMLS) is to promote the profession of Medical Laboratory Sciences and provide beneficial services and guidance to those who practice this profession in Pakistan. Our mission is to provide quality services for all consumers, the association is committed to the continuous quest for excellence in all of its activities, and it will:

A.    Provide a unified, integrated and dynamic platform for Medical Laboratory Scientists.

B.    Arrange workshops, symposiums, conferences and lectures.

C.   Address job issues of Medical Laboratory Scientists in Pakistan.

D.   Promote and address issues related to higher education for Medical Laboratory Scientists in Pakistan.

E.    Promote high standards of practice at the workplace.

F.    Advocate professional autonomy.

G.   Ensure professional competence by continuous education.

H.   Support worthy educational efforts at all levels.

I.    Encourage Medical Laboratories in their pursuit of expanded roles and responsibilities.

J.    Enhance the public understanding and respect for the profession and its practitioners.
